Yamel’s project called Exploring Cultural Identity through Poetry.” This research uses poetry as an Art-Based Research. The author connects with twelve participants from Mexico, United States, China and France participants constructing a poem that reflects her own cultural identity.

Meaghan’s project called “Collaging Connection to Place: An Autoethnographic Study in Place-based Identity and Community.” An arts-based ethnographic study using collage to explore personal connections to place, an understanding of identity, and in turn how these relationships create space for community building and empowerment.
