Description
"Social Justice, Diversity, and Inclusivity," was the theme for the 2017 Community of Scholars Day (COS). The 2017 COS preceded the inauguration of Lesley University's sixth president, Jeff A. Weiss, which is included in the program. The COS programming included presentations by students, faculty, alumni, and staff that dealt with different aspects of the theme through a variety of disciplinary perspectives.
The COS opening reception was on Thursday, March 23rd, the presentations were on Friday, March 24th, and the inauguration was on Saturday, March 25th. The reception took place at the Lunder Arts Center, the presentations were in University Hall, and the inauguration was at the First Church of Cambridge, on 11 Garden Street.
