This collection comprises newspapers written and published by Lesley College students between 1938 and 1983.
The Lantern was a weekly, student-run newspaper published during the school year. This series includes issues from 1938-1939, 1948-1949, and 1954-1971. The Educator was another weekly student newspaper published by Lesley College during the school year. Issues from 1972 are available. The collection also includes issues of The Lesley Green & Gold from 1982-1983.

This is the third issues of the Lesley School’s newspaper, The Lantern. This issue includes the first poem, and the first small illustration of the lantern. There are also advise of magazines to read, events around the Boston area, and events that happened at Lesley.

This is the second issue of the Lesley School’s newspaper, The Lantern. This is the first issue to include local advertisements of what to do in the area. The issue also includes a review of the Disney movie, Snow White, fun trivia games, and campus events.

This is the first publication of the Lesley School newspaper titled, The Lantern. This issue contains campus gossip, a profile of Professor Ward Browning, student perspectives of historical world events, and Lesley campus events. This issue also includes a letter from Edith Lesley Wolfard introducing the newspaper.
